The standard Total Station training course is aimed at surveyors or engineers who have little or no experience using Leica Total Stations. Ideal candidates include those who may have previously used theodolites, automatic levels, lasers or tapes and wish to upgrade their knowledge to work with the latest construction technology.
The course is available as either a half day or full day session, held at any of our nationwide branches or one of your sites. The day can be tailored to you and any special requests or requirements you have and all course materials are provided along with sufficient equipment for practical training.
The morning session covers setting up the Total Station over a known point and different setup procedures such as Resection and Known Backsight.
The afternoon session moves on to explore the different techniques of surveying and setting out, including how to input and upload coordinates to the instrument from a laptop or PC to stake out in the field and an overview of the instrument's capabilities with onboard programs such as Reference Line and Reference Arc.
