The Robotic Total Station training course is designed for the standard Total Station user who wants to get a hands-on experience with a Leica one man robotic kit. 

The new Leica TS16 or predecessor the Leica TS15 are both on our hire fleet and are the next step up from the standard non-motorised Total Stations. Both cost effective and speed efficient, the robotic kit eliminates the need for a 2^nd person holding the prism and miscommunications, minimising the risk of errors. 

Working through the onboard Leica Captivate or Leica Viva software, the training course covers the different setup procedures including Resection, Known Backsight and Set Orientation. 

The course focuses on learning to control the instrument from behind the pole and the benefits this will introduce for everyday surveying and engineering workflow. 

Further course content includes troubleshooting the issues of working one man, using the power search and joy stick options to stake out and survey, exploring the instrument software in depth and the features available such as setting out from AutoCad drawings, Reference Line and the Volume Calculations application.
