For untethered, open two-way communication, the Talk Box Comms System is the undisputed choice. This innovative comms system is a stand-alone, portable intercom system that provides communication between the Topman and the Entrant in a ventilated and standard noise confined space. Respiratory protection should not need to be worn, except as a means of escape from the confined space.

The Talk Box provides full hands-free operation, which allows the Entrant to speak and hear without having to operate the unit manually, and multiple entrants working together can all communicate through the Talk Box. The Topman can operate the Talk Box at the other end of the heavy duty cable. The operator of the Talk Box is required to activate the Controller’s press-to-talk button to speak with the Entrants within the confined space, however the open speaker monitors the Entrants continuously.
